Notice:

I have taken the wiki ofline due to comment spam. When I checked today there were 2000 spam comments listed on the home page alone. This may be a temporary or permanent situation depending on getting the commenting under control. I may just replace the wiki software that I have used with WordPress software. I had hoped to keep the wiki as open as possible, but there is no value to spam comments and would make the wiki a less pleasant environment for serious work. If I am able to get control of things, either through some wiki software or the blogging software and return the wiki to the net I will replace this notice. Thanks!

Welcome to The Live Sound Wiki. I hope to make this a community effort to present good information on verious aspects of live sound production. If you are an experienced technician working in the field of live sound production I invite you to become a contributor to the knowledge base here. If you are interested in live sound reinforcement this should be a good source of information presented by those working in the community. In either case, thanks for stopping by and for your interest. And now, On to the Wiki.

In conjunction with the wiki we have also established The Live Sound Forum. This is a Community in which those with knowledge can share with those seeking knowledge of live sound reinforcement. There is also a classified section for those members wishing to buy and sell equipment and services.

If you have any questions I can be contacted at: info@livesoundwiki.com

This wiki is presented and maintained by my small production company AudioArt Sound and Lighting. The Mixing Live Sound site is a proud sponsor of the Live Sound Wiki and Forum.
